Duck Creek Technologies Legacy Duck Creek Claims Insurance Claims Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 ProSight Specialty Insurance, now Coaction Global, implemented Duck Creek Policy as the foundational Duck Creek Technologies platform, establishing a suite-level architecture that includes Duck Creek Claims. Duck Creek Claims is the Insurance Claims Management component available within the same Duck Creek suite and is described in vendor materials as deployable independently or integrated with the policy platform. The production deployment of Duck Creek Policy focused on configurable policy administration capabilities, supporting customized products, bureau-based rating with deviated rates, rules and forms, and rapid product rollout cycles. The Duck Creek suite model described in the implementation allows integration of complementary modules such as Duck Creek Billing, Duck Creek Rating and Duck Creek Claims to extend functional coverage across the P and C lifecycle. Accenture served as the delivery partner to integrate the new policy platform with internal and third-party systems already in production, enabling cross-system workflows. The implementation covered 11 lines of business including commercial auto, property, general liability, inland marine, crime, workers compensation, umbrella, BOP, Mass auto, CPP and professional liability, and it was deployed across 50 states for admitted and non admitted placements with distribution via exclusive agency partners. Governance and operational objectives emphasized automation, streamlined processes and faster go to market, with stated goals to increase efficiencies, enhance business agility, empower distribution partners, increase customer satisfaction and enable growth without increasing staff, and to launch new programs within 30 to 90 days. The deployment positioned the organization to extend its platform footprint to Insurance Claims Management by adopting Duck Creek Claims when claims processing integration is required, while retaining the option of on premises or Duck Creek On Demand delivery models.
