Operational ownership was exercised by the Accounts Payable Supervisor who led a team of three plus staff, managed onboarding of new clients, and worked directly with the system administrator during implementation and on ongoing troubleshooting tasks. The system supported accounting and finance functions used for month end close activities, 1099 filing, preparation of client invoicing and internal billing, and ad hoc departmental reporting for the Controller. Governance and process responsibilities were formalized around staff training, new hire processes, reconciliation workflows for AP AR and balance sheet accounts, and oversight of cash logs and corporate books. The supervisor s role included resolving accounting discrepancies, coordinating with the Controller on reporting, and ensuring operational compliance with company policies.

Governance was run by a corporate implementation team that included the VP of Accounting, Director of HR, and Director of Maintenance, standardizing financial process and owner reporting workflows across the estate. The migration from M3 Accounting Core to Hotel Investor Apps resulted in an annual cost savings, and separate corporate real estate negotiations reduced operating costs by $60,000 per year.
