In 2017 Coca-Cola Ireland implemented SAP S/4 HANA as an ERP Financial solution, executing a cloud migration from SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The engagement covered an end to end SAP S/4 HANA Cloud Migration with explicit pre validation and post validation testing and prototype driven improvement cycles.
The implementation included Simple Logistics with Fiori interface customization, Material Requirements Planning using MRP Live and MRP Fiori run analysis, material valuation and inventory management including physical inventory posting, contract management, procurement flows covering purchase requisition purchase order and goods receipt, and sales order processing with inbound and outbound delivery and production planning display of production orders. Business Partner data migration and dashboard testing were implemented to support master data alignment and operational reporting.
Interface connectivity was tested with Winshuttle, Vertex and GRC as named integrations, and the project design implemented SAP HANA solutions to meet defined business goals. Material requirements planning runs and inventory posting processes were validated across finance procurement and supply chain functions, aligning transaction flows to the ERP Financial configuration.
Project governance was led by a Team Leader who was responsible for overall implementation and cloud migration activities including updates extensions and new implementations, client interaction and gap analysis, and end to end testing coordination. The work ran from August 2016 to September 2017 and used prototype developments test data management and iterative improvement cycles, with test management supported by HPQC and incident tracking via Service Now.
Analysis of the before and after impacts of the cloud migration was completed and invoice management issues in Fiori apps were addressed as part of remediation activities. Test data prototypes and documented improvement cycles were used to support rollout decisions and validate operational readiness.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BusinessObjects | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Coca-Cola Ireland implemented SAP BusinessObjects as part of an upgrade to its financial reporting environment. The deployment focused on Analytics and BI capabilities and included the rollout of the SAP BusinessObjects EPM Add-in to strengthen financial reporting and reporting automation across the GFO EMEA footprint.
The implementation emphasized financial reporting and Excel-integrated EPM workflows, using the SAP BusinessObjects EPM Add-in to standardize report templates, support scheduled report generation, and enable analyst-level consolidation and variance reporting. Configuration work centered on report definition, data source mapping to finance datasets, and scripted validation to ensure accuracy of period close reports.
Operational coverage included the Global Finance Operations EMEA teams based in Drogheda, Ireland and coordination with General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Order To Cash process owners to capture requirements and validate outputs. The team executed end-user testing cycles and delivered targeted training for finance users, with test scripts and acceptance criteria driving release readiness.
Governance for the project relied on documented design specifications, formal test plans, and structured training handoffs to local controllers and tax experts. The SAP BusinessObjects upgrade supported broader close cycle standardization efforts for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes that were executed across the EMEA finance organization.
