In 2017 Cognita Asia implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize ERP Financial operations for its global school network. The deployment adopted NetSuite OneWorld architecture to support finance processes across more than 80 schools in the UK, Asia, Chile and Spain, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP as the primary finance platform for group reporting and transactional processing.
The implementation focused on finance modules and configuration consistent with ERP Financial functionality, including multi entity general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany processing and consolidated financial reporting. The NetSuite solution was developed alongside an Adaptive solution roadmap, with explicit design work to manage interactions between planning and operational financial data flows.
Operational delivery included regional implementation leadership for Asia, centralized solution architecture planning and coordinated project execution using cloud based tools for system integrations. Project activities covered integrated project schedules, resource and budget management, and the deployment of finance workflows across business units to standardize accounting, reporting and reconciliation processes.
Governance and sustainment were formalized through project, programme and service governance frameworks, including project plans, progress reporting, RAID logs, user training, documentation and a central Knowledge Base. The program established clear escalation and support pathways, with NetSuite subject matter expertise retained to resolve incidents beyond helpdesk capabilities and to maintain the ongoing NetSuite solution roadmap under finance senior leadership.
