Operational integration included a clear data flow between Adaptive Planning and Oracle NetSuite ERP, with weekly cross charge reports prepared by finance, and corresponding journal entries prepared for upload to NetSuite. The scope of operational coverage included finance, financial planning and analysis, and marketing cost allocation, with department level cost distribution automated through the cross-charge processes. Governance and workflow changes emphasized recurring cadence and controls, including structured monthly and quarterly budgeting cycles, standardized variance analysis reporting, and a weekly journal entry upload process to NetSuite. Responsibility for preparing variance analysis, personnel forecasting, and cross-charge journal entries rested with the FP&A function, which maintained the integration between Adaptive Planning and Oracle NetSuite ERP.
