In 2020, Columbus UA implemented Proactis Esize to centralize procurement activities and standardize supplier and contract information across the organization. The project adopted Proactis Esize as the Procurement platform to support tender projects and to consolidate Source to Contract processes into a single application layer.
The implementation consolidated eSourcing, contract management, a central contract repository, and supplier master data within one configured instance of Proactis Esize. Configuration work focused on establishing uniform contract records and supplier profiles, formalizing tender workflows and approval paths, and creating consistent procurement process flows to reduce fragmentation where supplier and contract information had been recorded in different systems.
Operational scope targeted the procurement function at Columbus UA, enabling procurement teams to steer on current facts and centralize supplier and contract governance for improved process control. Governance and process changes delivered a uniform way of working, central process ownership, and clearer visibility into the procurement value of contracts, supporting the organization’s objective to gain more control over processes and budgets.
