In 2023 Community Reach Center deployed NextGen Mobile to extend point of care document capture and access across its behavioral health, substance abuse, and primary care programs in the Denver area. The NextGen Mobile implementation is part of a consolidated NextGen Enterprise footprint that includes NextGen Enterprise EHR and NextGen Enterprise practice management, and it is positioned within the Document Management layer of the overall clinical stack.
NextGen Mobile was configured to provide mobile clinical documentation, including intake and progress note workflows, clinician access to consolidated patient records, and secure document retrieval at school-based therapy sites, primary care offices, homes, and outpatient facilities. The deployment aligns with typical Document Management capabilities by enabling structured clinical note entry, storage and retrieval of consent and assessment forms, and mobile-enabled access to behavioral health records through the NextGen Behavioral Health Suite.
The implementation integrates directly with NextGen Enterprise EHR, NextGen Enterprise practice management, NextGen Behavioral Health Suite, NextGen Virtual Visits, and is hosted using NextGen Managed Cloud Services, providing a cloud-based architecture for interoperability and centralized data management. Operational coverage explicitly includes Community Reach Center’s school-based therapy program and multi-site outpatient network, enabling clinicians to share patient information across providers securely and to support state reporting workflows.
Governance and workflow changes focused on consolidating documentation practices across clinical specialties and enabling cross-provider data sharing, which NextGen Mobile supports by surfacing consistent documentation templates and secure access controls.
