The deployment targeted core ERP Financial functions for the companys corporate accounting and billing operations in Canada, configuring general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting to align chart of accounts and tax settings with Canadian requirements. The implementation was scoped to finance and accounting teams at the 200-employee company level, with configuration work focused on role-based access, month-end close sequencing, and consolidated financial reporting workflows.
Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise was integrated operationally with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access workflows to leverage staff proficiency in spreadsheet-based reporting, data imports, and reconciliation tasks, and the finance team brought experience using ACCPAC and QuickBook which informed validation rules and mapping decisions. Governance centered on standardized accounting processes, separation of billing and accounting duties, and documented month-end procedures to support ongoing operational use of the ERP Financial system.
