Oracle Infor Baan ERP Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Jibe Consulting, a Hackett Group Company 2014 2014
In 2014, CooperVision implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform, migrating from Infor Baan ERP and engaging Jibe Consulting, a Hackett Group Company for implementation and training support. The implementation centered on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financials, establishing a core financial application footprint for the company. Configuration work focused on R12 Financials modules, including Subledger Accounting, Ledgers and Ledger Set configuration, Legal Entity setup, Trading Community Architecture, E-Business Tax, Payments, and Multi-Org Access Control. These modules were configured to support centralized subledger to general ledger posting, multi-ledger reporting, entity-level legal reporting, transaction tax calculation, and centralized payment processing. Operational coverage targeted CooperVision finance functions, with the implementation supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, tax, and payment operations. Jibe Consulting authored training and demo materials in January 2014 and February 2014 for the deployed modules, enabling finance teams to adopt new accounting flows and subledger procedures tied to Oracle E-Business Suite. Governance and process changes emphasized ledger and legal entity governance, role-based access via MOAC, and standardized subledger accounting rules through SLA configuration. Training artifacts and demo scripts created by the SI were used as part of change management to align accounting, tax, and treasury workflows with the new ERP Financial platform.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 CooperVision implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR system. The rollout was organized as a global program covering HR operations across approximately 30 countries and supporting roughly 15,000 employees, aligning the HCM program with concurrent finance and ERP initiatives. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to deliver Core HR capabilities including employee records and workforce administration, benefits and absence administration, talent lifecycle workflows, and centralized HR data management. The implementation included security role configuration, master data management touchpoints, and process automation for onboarding, position management, and HR case management consistent with standard Core HR workflows. Integrations connected Oracle Cloud HCM with the existing finance and systems landscape, specifically Oracle eBS financial modules, Oracle Hyperion EPM, BlackLine, and Concur to enable shared master data and payroll related accounting flows. The program also incorporated governance controls for GDPR, IT SOX, GRC, and access management to align HR data handling with corporate compliance and validation requirements. Operational governance used program level release management, test management, training management, and in house application managed services across onshore and offshore teams as described by the company’s IT leadership. The project followed multi year HCM program management practices with cross functional ownership from HR, finance, and IT to standardize processes and centralize Core HR operations.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, CooperVision implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) to address Field Service Management requirements across its service operations. The deployment is positioned within an existing Oracle Applications 12i environment, and Oracle Field Service Cloud was introduced as the primary scheduling and dispatch engine for field technician workflows. Oracle Field Service Cloud was configured to operate alongside a broad Oracle stack including Oracle Applications 12i (12.2.3) modules such as Oracle Enterprise Asset Management EAM, Oracle Depot Repair, Service Contracts, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Shipping, Inventory, Receivables, Payables, Purchasing, Oracle Work In Process, Bill of Materials, Oracle Quality, Advanced Collections, Oracle Payments, Oracle e-Commerce Gateway, and Oracle Release Management. The technical architecture included Oracle database 10g and 11g backends, Oracle Developer tooling across Developer 2000, 6i, 9i and 10g, PL SQL Developer and SQL Navigator for code and stored procedure management, and HP UNIX for application hosting. Integrations in the implementation included messaging and data translation layers using Gentran 4x, BizTalk B2B translator, and Oracle XML Gateway, and reporting and document generation through XML Publisher BI Publisher. These integrations oriented Oracle Field Service Cloud toward service ticket lifecycle orchestration, depot repair handoffs, parts availability checks interfacing with Inventory and Purchasing, and billing interactions tied to Receivables and Service Contracts. Governance and operational design centered on centralizing dispatch and scheduling within the Field Service Management domain, aligning service workflows with EAM and Depot Repair processes, and standardizing interfaces for order, inventory, and financial systems. Change control leveraged existing Application Developer and System Administration disciplines in the Oracle Applications environment, and development artifacts included RICE style customizations and XML Publisher templates for operational reporting.
