In 2015, CORA Physical Therapy implemented Sage HRMS (Sage Abra) for Core HR. The deployment established Sage HRMS (Sage Abra) as the primary Core HR application to manage hiring and employee lifecycle processes across the organization.
The implementation scope centered on centralized new hire processing and ongoing HR case work, supporting more than 1500 employees across 100+ locations. Functional use included processing all new hires in Sage, onboarding administration, benefits enrollment for medical, dental and vision, FMLA intake and processing, daily employment verifications, and handling new hire paperwork related to acquisitions.
Configuration focused on core employee data, benefits enrollment workflows, FMLA case management, and transactional processes that produced monthly benefit billing inputs. Cornerstone was used in tandem to create and enforce new hire paperwork workflows, establishing a handoff between talent paperwork and the Sage HRMS employee record.
Operational governance concentrated in the HR coordinator function that administered enrollments, verifications, background checks, and company policy inquiries, centralizing routine HR services across sites. The combined setup of Sage HRMS (Sage Abra) and Cornerstone standardized onboarding and verification processes, and supported acquisition-related onboarding activities without referencing a named prior platform.
