In 2012, Corendon implemented AFAS Profit to centralize HRM, payroll and financial processes within an ERP Financial environment. The deployment targeted Corendon International Travel and the airline arm that expanded from 70 to 118 FTE, addressing the urgent need for a professional HRM and payroll system as headcount grew.
The implementation encompassed AFAS Profit modules for HR administration, payroll processing, competency and safety course tracking for flying personnel, and Profit Financieel for core financials. AFAS Profit was configured as a single integrated solution to maintain personnel files, capture mandatory training and competence records for flight operations, and automate payroll generation and payslip distribution.
Operational rollout included digital salary slip distribution and a near term plan to activate the digital personnel dossier, while InSite ESS/MSS was slated for short term rollout to enable employee and manager self service. The deployment aligned HR and payroll workflows with the financial administration within AFAS Profit to create an end to end staff lifecycle and finance record flow.
Governance and process ownership were led by the financial manager and HR advisors who coordinated configuration, policy mapping and change management, enabling HR and payroll administration to run at full capacity. AFAS Profit provides Corendon an ERP Financial platform aimed at improving efficiency across HRM, payroll and financial administration and at supporting the companys growth ambitions as a tour operator and airline.

| AFAS Software | Legacy | AFAS HR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, Corendon implemented AFAS HR to standardize HRM and payroll across Corendon International Travel and the newly formed Corendon Dutch Airlines. Rapid growth from 70 to 118 FTE created a clear need for professional HRM and payroll tooling, and the AFAS HR deployment was scoped to address those Core HR business functions for both travel and airline operations.
The implementation configured core HR and payroll modules, competency management, and safety course tracking to capture qualifications for flying personnel, AFAS HR providing a single application to hold those records. Corendon enabled digital salary slip distribution and prepared a digital personnel dossier, while planning a phased rollout of InSite ESS MSS for employee and manager self service. During the program the team also provisioned Profit Financieel to bring financial administration into the same vendor ecosystem.
Operational coverage included centralized HR and payroll processing for the corporate travel business and the airline, with the financial manager and HR advisors leading configuration, data onboarding, and user adoption. Governance emphasized single source of truth for competency and safety training records and staged self service enablement to shift routine transactions away from HR admins. Corendon reports live digital payslips and an imminent digital dossier rollout, and AFAS HR is positioned to improve efficiency across HRM, payroll and financial administration as described by the customer.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Chat (formerly Salesforce Live Agent) | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Corendon implemented Salesforce Chat (formerly Salesforce Live Agent) on its public website as part of its Chatbots and Conversational AI deployment. The rollout focused on embedding an on-site live chat capability to capture and route inbound customer conversations through the Salesforce Chat framework.
Configuration centered on the web chat widget, pre chat capture forms, real time agent presence and routing rules, transcript capture and canned response libraries. The implementation used Salesforce Chat agent consoles to enable synchronous handling of customer sessions, session transfer between agents, and basic chat state persistence to support multistep booking inquiries.
Integrations were limited to the website front end and the broader Salesforce environment provided by the vendor, connecting web session data and chat transcripts into the company s Salesforce instance for agent access. Operational scope targeted customer support and online sales touchpoints on the Corendon website, aligning chat routing to support queues and business hours defined by the organization.
Governance emphasized chat routing rules, administrator controls for canned responses, and agent workspace configuration to standardize handling patterns and handoffs. The narrative describes a vendor native deployment of Salesforce Chat within Corendon s web channel, implemented without an external system integrator.
