In 2022, CoreRx implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to establish a unified ERP Financial backbone for its finance organization. The initiative was led by the company interim CFO, and it targeted the consolidation of Finance, Accounting, Treasury and FP&A processes across three operating sites.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central deployment focused on core finance and accounting modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and FP&A workflows. Configuration work emphasized a harmonized chart of accounts, multi-site financial consolidation, intercompany transaction handling and standardized financial reporting, with automation applied to routine accounting tasks and period close sequences.
The implementation included explicit integration with Power BI for consolidated financial reporting and analytics, enabling the use of the application as the single source for ledger and subledger data. Operational coverage centered on corporate finance functions, with the ERP Financial system feeding reporting and planning use cases across the three sites.
Governance and rollout were directed by the interim CFO, who combined program leadership with broader finance responsibilities, and who also led two M&A integrations and a $45 million refinance during the same tenure. Deployment sequencing aligned application configuration to M&A integration requirements and centralized treasury and FP&A oversight, with governance protocols established by the finance leadership team to manage change and financial controls.

In 2022 CoreRx implemented Microsoft Power BI to centralize finance reporting and FP&A across its three sites. The implementation of Microsoft Power BI was executed alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 and targeted the Analytics and BI needs of finance, accounting, treasury, and operational oversight.
The deployment focused on financial reporting, consolidated dashboards, FP&A modeling, treasury reporting, and a semantic data model to support scheduled refresh and self service reporting. Configuration work included role based access control, dataset design in Power BI, and development of operational and executive scorecards. Automation included scheduled dataset refreshes and published app workspaces to standardize distribution to finance and executive stakeholders.
Microsoft Power BI was integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 to source general ledger, subledger, and transactional finance data, with additional site level operational feeds consolidated into the Power BI semantic layer. The architecture used Power BI workspaces and shared datasets to provide cross site consolidation across the three CoreRx sites. This supported cross functional visibility for finance, accounting, treasury, and FP&A workflows.
The implementation was led from finance, with the Interim CFO directing governance, report ownership, and rollout sequencing to align accounting close, FP&A and M&A integration activities.
