Equivant Legacy Equivant CourtView Case Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Chester County, PA implemented Equivant CourtView for Case Management to standardize court recordkeeping and intake across its prothonotary and court administration functions. The deployment targeted judgment processing, Family Court matters including divorce and custody, and civil case workflows, aligning application use with frontline clerical operations in county court offices. Equivant CourtView was configured to support electronic filing intake and paper filing acceptance, docketing and case indexing, judgment management, and document imaging and retrieval. Functional modules emphasized case organization, automated docket updates, and document management to support routine administrative duties such as answering public inquiries, producing case packets, and fulfilling document requests by mail or courier. The implementation operated alongside existing county systems, with explicit operational interaction with TrakMan, Imaging, and OnBase and with staff using standard imaging and scanning hardware and Microsoft Office for document processing. Equivant CourtView therefore served as the central case management record, while imaging and document management systems provided scanned exhibits and long term file retention. Operational governance centered on the prothonotary and court office leadership, with collaboration protocols established between clerks, judges and judges secretaries to ensure cases were organized and prepared for hearings. Day to day workflows incorporated e filing intake, paper processing, document distribution via FedEx UPS US Postal Service email and in person requests, and routine administrative tracking and customer support by office staff.
