In 2015, Credit Karma, Inc. implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as a core ERP Financial deployment supporting the companys finance and accounting functions. The initiative focused on establishing dimensional accounting structures and a reliable general ledger feed to support downstream planning and reporting.
SpearMC and the Host Analytics implementation team collaborated with Credit Karmas finance and accounting team to identify dimensional data, including accounting segments and hierarchies, from Oracle NetSuite ERP. Those dimensions and GL data were loaded and validated, and a prototype of the Host Analytics application design was created to align plan structures with the NetSuite chart of accounts.
SpearMC worked with Credit Karma to identify improvements to existing revenue and cost models and then built the revised models on the Host Analytics Planning platform, integrating NetSuite derived GL dimensions into planning models. The engagement included design and build of flexible P&L and expense detail reports to reflect the new dimensional model and to support financial planning and analysis workflows.
Implementation governance emphasized iterative prototype validation between Credit Karmas finance team, SpearMC, and the Host Analytics implementation team, ensuring configuration of accounting segments and hierarchies matched reporting requirements. The delivery combined Oracle NetSuite ERP as the transactional source with Host Analytics for planning and reporting, enabling unified financial planning constructs and detailed P&L and expense reporting driven by NetSuite data.
