Configuration work focused on recurring payroll cycles, statutory reporting outputs, and automated generation of payroll and accrual journal files for downstream finance posting. Operationally the program included maintenance of the Riteq time and attendance system alongside Pyramid Payroll, with timekeeping data maintained in Riteq used to drive pay calculations and journal preparation in NLA Pyramid Payroll. The arrangement positions NLA Pyramid Payroll as the payroll processing engine while Riteq functions as the workforce time capture source, supporting coordinated payroll and HR workflows. Governance activities emphasized ongoing payroll processing ownership, statutory submission controls for HMRC and pension providers, and compliance reporting for gender pay gap obligations. Training of new users on Riteq was part of the rollout and operational support, establishing user-level process knowledge for time entry, exception handling and payroll run preparation.
