In 2017, Crusta C implemented IFS Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial application across the group, initiating a centralized platform to support finance and to align quality processes with IFS Food requirements. The deployment was structured to span three sites, with configuration work occurring at the head office in L'Isle Jourdain and across production locations to ensure consistent operational records and program visibility.
Configuration focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities augmented to support quality operations, including centralized financial management, document control for quality records, dashboarding to monitor key quality indicators, and workflow-driven action plan tracking. The implementation formalized quality documentation such as the HACCP plan and approval files into a centralized repository, and it was configured to record and monitor non conformities and corrective actions alongside financial and operational transactions.
Operational coverage included the head office and two additional sites, with explicit program activity to harmonize practices and quality documentation across the three sites. The program incorporated customer relationship activities inside the same operational scope, including specification management, analysis and processing of customer complaints, and structured responses to specific customer requests. The role of internal referent for ASC MSC certification was established for two sites and certification and renewal workflows for IFS Food were tracked across sites.
Governance and process changes were formalized via periodic management reviews, site action plans owned by site managers and pilots, staff training programs, and an internal audit cadence covering all three sites. The implementation linked audit follow up, certification tracking, and action plan monitoring to the centralized ERP based documentation and dashboarding, enabling consistent governance of IFS Food aligned quality processes across the group.
