In 2014, CSE Global implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to address core ERP Financial requirements across its finance organization. The initial deployment focused on corporate tax support, accounts receivable processing, and consolidated financial accounting reporting within the company's finance function.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation included master data extraction and configuration of a company chart of accounts, and creation of business partner codes for both customers and suppliers. The project also designated team members to act as operational backups for consolidated financial accounting reports and accounts receivable processes, reflecting role-based continuity planning.
The deployment was integrated with a Workbench project management accounting system, and project staff participated in the Integration Testing Cycle and User Acceptance Testing for end to end validation. Master data feeds and business partner records were prepared to support transactional flows between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the project accounting Workbench.
Governance activities centered on final preparation for pre and post go-live, including user acceptance testing signoffs, data extraction validation, and alignment of accounting workflows for corporate tax and consolidated reporting. Operational scope emphasized finance and project accounting teams, with established responsibilities for backup processing and post go-live stabilization.

Operational scope included feeding approved leave and attendance data into payroll administration and financial posting processes, supporting monthly payroll reconciliation and preparation of payroll journals for timely posting to the general ledger. The solution also provided the transactional and reporting outputs used for CPF submission, e filing of annual income tax, IR21 submissions for foreign employees, and preparation of supporting documents for SOX internal control reviews and external auditors.
Governance and process controls were aligned with broader HR obligations, including maintenance of training procedures and documentation to meet ISO9000 requirements and contribution to the Employee's Handbook for Singapore and overseas offices. CSE Global continued to maintain the Prosoft HRIS, Leave & Benefit System as the operational source for leave management and employee data, with Unit4 Prosoft Leave Management serving as the formal Absence and Leave Management application. The system underpinned HR, payroll, compliance and benefits administration processes across the company’s Singapore and overseas operations.
