SoftCo ExpressAP was configured to provide end-to-end invoice processing capabilities, including electronic invoice capture, automated three-way matching, invoice approval routing, and query management through configurable workflows. The deployment emphasized scalability and multi-entity support so Dairygold could add users and extend AP operations without server upgrades, and enabled on-the-go approval via email and device-agnostic access for a global workforce.
The implementation included full integrations with Dairygold’s ERP systems, Oracle and Core, enabling automated payment posting and maintaining transactional integrity between SoftCo ExpressAP and enterprise finance ledgers. Operational coverage encompassed all supplier invoice touchpoints from capture through matching, approval, and ERP posting, resulting in a single-system control of the entire AP process.
Governance was restructured around automated routing of query invoices to the appropriate users and configurable approval chains, reducing manual handoffs and simplifying dispute resolution at branch level. According to Dairygold the solution processes 100 percent of invoices electronically and reduced invoice query times by 75 percent, while improving invoice approval velocity and supplier payment timeliness, which together strengthened supplier relations.

Access PeopleXD was configured to support high-volume payroll processing for more than 1,200 employees with weekly and monthly payroll cycles, expense processing for Irish and UK employees, and creditor payment workflows for multi-entity financial settlement. The implementation incorporated bank reconciliation procedures, tax filing workflows aligned to PAYE Modernisation, and a central repository for work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Operationally the Core HR deployment interfaces procedurally with Financial Accountants and Pension Advisors, supplying payroll outputs for payment runs and pension reconciliations, and it underpins Shared Services month-end processes and audit activities. Access PeopleXD also provides HR case management and employee self-service capabilities consistent with Core HR systems, enabling HR and payroll teams to process amendments, respond to queries and maintain compliance documentation.
Payroll governance and workflow ownership were assigned to the Shared Services function, with designated payroll specialists accountable for reconciliations, legislative updates and maintenance of SOPs. The rollout emphasized documented controls and auditability to support compliance with Irish and UK payroll regulations and to coordinate cross-functional interactions between HR, finance and pension advisors.
