In 2015, Daisy Group implemented Sage SnowdropKCS as its Core HR application. The deployment targeted HR and payroll capabilities for the company’s UK employee base and included configuration at the Nelson, Lancashire HR site.
Configuration focused on employee relations and case management modules, covering disciplinaries, grievances, restructures and settlement agreements, alongside performance development and employee engagement features. The implementation also included attendance and absence management, flexible working requests, health and wellbeing promotion, payroll administration, and processes for new starter and leaver handling, with management information reporting configured for HR operational oversight.
Operational users documented in the implementation included HR Administrators, HR Advisors and Senior HR Advisors who used Sage SnowdropKCS to manage case workflows, absence cases, payroll tasks and onboarding activities. The system supported manager-facing workflows and HR training for managers as part of routine operationalization.
Governance emphasized standardized HR processes and centralized case tracking for employee relations, supported by structured management information to inform HR decision making. Rollout and change management elements included manager training and process alignment to embed the Core HR application into day to day HR operations.
