In 2018, DatAction implemented Microsoft 365 to establish a centralized Collaboration platform for the 30 person professional services firm based in the Netherlands. DatAction deployed Microsoft 365 as a cloud SaaS tenant to consolidate productivity and team collaboration functions across the organization.
The Microsoft 365 configuration emphasized core Collaboration capabilities, including Exchange Online for corporate email, Microsoft Teams for real time communication and meetings, SharePoint Online for document collaboration and intranet content, OneDrive for personal file sync, and Office desktop and web applications for day to day productivity. Administrative controls were centralized at the tenant level with identity and single sign on integrated into the Microsoft 365 environment to manage users and permissions.
Operational coverage focused on professional services delivery teams, internal project collaboration, and client facing document sharing workflows, with the company website referencing use of Microsoft 365. Governance concentrated on tenant administration, user provisioning, and access control and adoption was organized around collaboration and content management workflows common to small professional services organizations.
