The implementation used AVEVA Wonderware System Platform components and Wonderware HMI, with explicit operational and developmental support for Wonderware System Platform 2014 and 2012. Functional capabilities implemented included supervisory SCADA control, alarm management and rationalization, point to point testing and point count management, data collection and historical tag analysis to identify deficient compression settings, and leak detection workflows. Integrations and infrastructure tied AVEVA Wonderware to MySQL and SQL Server databases, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 10 hosts, Microsoft Active Directory for user access control, and PI data repository support for historical data. The architecture incorporated primary Control Centers with failover to a backup data center, communications with external devices and field locations, on call control center support, and local HMI instances at remote terminals. Governance and operational procedures were enforced through quarterly patching and application update processes in accordance with DCP IT standards, managed user access via Active Directory, and documented failover and backup control center maintenance routines. The AVEVA Wonderware deployment supported DCP Midstream, LP Asset Performance Management by maintaining a secure, standardized, reliable SCADA and leak detection environment while enabling project work, system growth, and regulatory alarm rationalization activities.
