The implementation encompassed core payroll and personnel administration capabilities, including onboarding and administrative offboarding, absence monitoring, management of insurance affiliations and trial period tracking. PayFit Payroll was configured to support collection and preparation of variable payroll elements such as absences, bonuses and overtime, to enable payslip control and validation and to produce monthly HR reporting for internal stakeholders. Operational integrations were explicit and process oriented, with variable elements transmitted to local payroll service providers and regular transmission of salaries and contributions for payment to the finance department. The payroll process operated in close contact with local accounting firms and local HR teams, while banking and payment administration included management of national bank accounts and transactions in euros, pounds sterling and dollars for subsidiary payments. Governance and process restructuring included creation of English language manuals and tutorials for country procedures, translation of required documents across French, English and Spanish and designation of direct legal contacts for country specific labor law questions. Payroll governance extended to organized employee and subsidiary file management, monthly bilingual meetings with the finance department and subsidiary accounting partners, and centralized oversight of payroll operations executed via PayFit Payroll in Spain. Operational ownership covered personnel administration, payroll international employment contract processes and monthly HR reporting, with PayFit Payroll used to manage the entire payroll cycle in Spain and to standardize inputs and controls transmitted to external local providers for other countries. The implementation emphasized structured workflows between HR, finance and external advisors to maintain cross border payroll compliance and administrative consistency.
