In 2016, Delmec implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment used NetSuite's cloud SaaS architecture to centralize core finance and operational record keeping for the Ireland-based manufacturing firm with 115 employees.
The implementation focused on configuring core ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, billing and financial reporting. Operational scope covered finance, procurement and production planning functions across Delmec's Ireland operations, establishing a single source of transactional truth for order to cash and procure to pay processes. Process changes included standardized chart of accounts, consolidated financial periods, and template driven transaction processing to reduce manual reconciliation.
Governance established formal change control for configuration updates, role based segregation of duties and an iterative optimisation approach after go live. The program emphasized configuration governance and process standardization to maintain the ERP Financial environment and support future functional extensions.
