The programme owner is responsible for configuration of global standard processes, mapping of local policy exceptions, and turning commercial proposals into technical implementations, while ensuring the T&E application supports booking, expense capture, and card reconciliation workflows.
Operational integration extends to Treasury, Procurement, Social Impact and HR teams, and to Finance Technology, regional operational finance directors and shared services for deployment and reporting alignment. A London and Bangalore based delivery model provides project and BAU support across markets, and the role includes driving consistency in interactions between the Travel Management Company, booking platform and the Concur Expense application to surface root causes of issues and prioritize solution improvements.
Governance and process controls were formalized with programme level steering, regional governance inputs and an escalation path for deployment blockages. The remit includes supplier partnership management, contract extension and renegotiation support, the establishment of a support framework with SLAs and KPI management, and change management to enforce adherence to the Global T&E policy while accommodating local policy needs.
