| IDEMIA | Legacy | IDEMIA MOTION CODE | Card Personalization | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 | In 2020, Deutsche Bank Spain deployed IDEMIA MOTION CODE in the Card Personalization category for a Mastercard-branded product called Tarjeta Calma. The implementation focused on IDEMIA MOTION CODE's dynamic cryptogram capability, providing a time-varying card verification code that updates every four hours to reduce the risk of online card data theft and cloning. Deutsche Bank, IDEMIA and Mastercard launched this MOTION CODE card as a consumer offering in Spain to strengthen online payment security. Configuration work centered on embedding the dynamic security code module into the card personalization and issuance workflow. Functional capabilities implemented included time-based CVC token generation and provisioning, personalization orchestration to align issuance with the dynamic code lifecycle, and secure key management typical of card personalization operations. The solution was integrated with Mastercard network authorization processes and with Deutsche Bank's card operations and payment processing channels to enable validation of the dynamic CVC during online authorizations. Operational coverage was the Tarjeta Calma retail card issuance in Spain, affecting card operations, fraud prevention, and online payments acceptance processes. Governance for the rollout involved Deutsche Bank card management and fraud risk teams coordinating personalization, issuance procedures, and merchant acceptance rules to support the dynamic CVC lifecycle. The explicitly stated outcome was improved online payment security, with IDEMIA MOTION CODE's dynamic CVC updating every four hours to make online transactions substantially more secure. | |
