Operational rollout followed a phased approach, with Phase 1 prepare activities for requirements gathering, Phase 2 customise covering design and presentation of the customised solution, Phase 3 test involving key-user testing and intensive project manager involvement, and Phase 4 go live focused on the changeover plan and production cutover. Testing and end-user training were supported by Sileron, and the program emphasized high involvement of business stakeholders during user acceptance testing. Governance centered on a changeover plan for a smooth go-live and strong project management oversight, aligning deployment activities with objectives to enable reliable real-time reporting for management and shareholders. The stated project objectives were to prepare for electronic invoicing, automate low-value tasks, and deliver reliable reporting, with SAP Business ByDesign positioned to provide cloud-based finance orchestration and operational reporting capabilities for Diabolocom.
