PDS Vista Benefits was configured to leverage core Vista HRMS functional elements, including workflow, tax management, recruitment and staffing, position management, training management, COBRA compliance, OSHA and Workers Compensation compliance, FMLA management, Flexible Spending Accounts claims administration, and performance and compensation management. The implementation emphasized employee and manager self service, report level security, and guided new hire wizards to streamline onboarding and ongoing HR administration.
The solution was deployed on premise to satisfy a requirement for ownership and compatibility with the company virtual machine platform, rather than as a vendor hosted service. Operational coverage centralized HR and payroll administration while extending self service capabilities to store locations and corporate users, reducing manual paperwork and administrative touch points.
Governance and rollout focused on paperless process adoption, secure role based reporting, and staged expansion of Vista functionality as the HR organization matured with the product.
