Ministry Brands Legacy Ministry Brands ParishSOFT Accounting ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2014 2015
In 2014, Divine Saviour School implemented Ministry Brands ParishSOFT Accounting, an ERP Financial application, to manage school accounting and diocesan finance functions as part of an Archdiocese of Atlanta program that centralized finance across roughly 120 parishes and schools in the southeastern United States. The deployment adopted the web-based ParishSOFT Accounting architecture to replace a desktop LOGOS system and to provide centralized ledgers and near real-time financial visibility for participating sites. Ministry Brands ParishSOFT Accounting was configured with core ERP Financial capabilities, including a centralized general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, and a standardized chart of accounts to harmonize month-end close processes across schools. Configuration emphasized standardized accounting practices and role-based access controls to support diocesan control points and consistent month-end procedures across sites. The implementation documentation highlights integration with ParishSOFT Family Suite to align family and donor records with accounting transactions. Integration between ParishSOFT Accounting and ParishSOFT Family Suite reduced manual reconciliation between school billing and family records, while the web-based architecture enabled consolidated reporting and stronger audit controls for diocesan finance teams. Operational coverage extended across schools and parishes within the Archdiocese of Atlanta region, centralizing financial reporting and audit workflows under a single web-accessible platform. The rollout used rolling group transitions coordinated by the diocese and included diocesan-led training to enforce governance and standardized workflows. According to the case study, the program produced greater visibility and standardized accounting practices and strengthened audit controls across the diocesan network.
