In 2007, DSV A/S implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial backbone for finance and accounting functions. The Global IT Business Services department manages global application development, change requests and 3rd level support for the deployment. The department comprises more than 300 IT professionals distributed worldwide and services a portfolio that includes SAP ERP, SAP BPC, SAP MDG, CargoWise One, CargoLink, Red Prairie, Salesforce, SharePoint and Qlikview.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to deliver core financial modules, including Financial Accounting, Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting. Configuration focused on statutory reporting, intercompany posting and standard controlling workflows aligned with ERP Financial operations. The implementation included chart of accounts alignment and period end close orchestration to support group accounting processes.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was integrated with SAP BPC for planning and consolidation and with SAP MDG to enforce master data governance. Integrations with CargoWise One, CargoLink and Red Prairie linked logistics and transport billing into financial posting flows, while Salesforce, SharePoint and Qlikview provided CRM, collaboration and BI linkages to financial data.
