Infor Legacy Infor Lawson ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, Designer Shoe Warehouse implemented Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial platform to centralize core financial and HR processing across the organization. The Infor Lawson deployment covered core financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable with invoice matching, Procurement and Requisition Self-Service, Tax and Asset Management, together with HR, Benefits, and Payroll functionality. Configuration work prioritized transaction matching and requisition self service workflows to support retail purchasing and store replenishment processes, and payroll interfaces to workforce management. The implementation included application level management of the Infor Lawson modules, with functional capabilities organized around financial close, payables automation, procurement lifecycle, tax reporting, fixed asset accounting, and payroll processing. Infor Lawson was integrated into a broader application ecosystem that includes Hyperion, BlackLine, OnBase, MHC, ACOM, and Kronos WFC, supporting financial consolidation, reconciliation, document management, merchandising support, point of sale settlement interfaces, and workforce timekeeping. The environment also included ISD payments software under the same operational domain, handling store credit and debit, checks, and gift card authorization and settlement to link transaction settlement to general ledger and accounts payable flows. Operational ownership resided with centralized application management responsible for ongoing administration of Infor Lawson and the adjacent systems, supporting finance, HR, payroll, and store operations across the United States. Governance emphasized application stewardship, configuration control, and integrated transaction handling between payment authorization, payroll time data, and financial accounting modules.

Dayforce Legacy Ceridian Dayforce HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Designer Shoe Warehouse deployed Ceridian Dayforce HCM. Designer Shoe Warehouse used Ceridian Dayforce HCM as its Core HR system to support HR and retail workforce management functions across store operations and store leadership. The Ceridian Dayforce HCM implementation centered on Core HR capabilities, including employee records and HRIS functions, workforce scheduling and time management, and embedded analytics to inform weekly sales and staffing decisions. Ceridian Dayforce HCM was used to produce analytics that measured the impact of sales efforts and to adjust scheduling and staffing forecasts, reflecting standard Core HR and workforce management workflows. Operational use was concentrated at the store level, with store managers and assistant managers using Dayforce to forecast staffing needs, adjust schedules, and run one on one coaching and performance conversations. The implementation is documented in store operations activity such as an Assistant Manager in Ancaster, Ontario using Dayforce HCM to generate analytics and to coordinate with department heads on staffing and scheduling. Governance and workflow changes included regular use of Dayforce analytics to drive weekly sales strategies, structured one on one coaching workflows tied to performance metrics, and collaboration between store leadership and HR to align staffing forecasts. These process changes formalized how store teams used Ceridian Dayforce HCM for workforce planning and performance coaching. Explicit outcomes tied to Dayforce use include analytics-driven adjustments to sales strategies and a reported execution of team coaching strategies that produced a 30% increase in customer loyalty sign ups within one week, moving loyalty sign up metrics from 50% to 80% in that instance. The narrative establishes Designer Shoe Warehouse, Ceridian Dayforce HCM, Core HR, and HR and store workforce management as tightly linked in operational practice.
