In 2014, Duinrell implemented Exact Synergy as a Document Management solution to centralize document storage and governance for its Exact Software financial administration. Exact Synergy was positioned to support the company finance function, enabling searchable archival of invoices, contracts and transactional documents while linking document records to the Exact financial ledgers used for central accounting at Duinrell.
The deployment emphasized Document Management capabilities such as document capture and indexing, electronic invoice and contract handling, workflow-based approval and retention controls, and role-based access for finance and management. The Exact Synergy implementation was integrated with the Exact Software financial administration to associate documents with payment conditions and accounting totals, and it was configured to feed consolidated inputs to Sumatra reporting for one-sheet management dashboards. Advisie served as an implementation partner, with operational collaboration noted between Duinrell, ComputerPlan and Sumatra during the reporting and dashboard work.
Rollout targeted the central finance organization while interfacing with multiple departmental systems that generate daily, weekly and monthly reports, with final processing and steering performed at weekly or monthly aggregation levels. The combined Exact Software and Sumatra reporting footprint delivered near real-time dashboards and simplified month-to-month comparative reporting, and the Sumatra consultant completed the reporting dashboard implementation in three days according to the project account, reducing the manual effort required to prepare figures for weekly management meetings.
