In 2023 Dupli implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service as the Field Service Management component of a broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite deployment. The implementation was delivered alongside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Marketing and Power BI, with implementation support from Tecman and Technology Management guiding architecture and rollout activities.
Dupli configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service together with Dynamics 365 Business Central to support service and warranty management, and to align service operations with order processing, purchasing, warehousing and shipping workflows. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service implementation includes standard field service capabilities such as work order orchestration, scheduling and dispatch, onsite service records and inventory linkage to back office stock in Business Central, enabling coordinated service fulfilment across technician and warehouse operations.
The solution architecture integrates Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service with Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Marketing and Power BI to create an end to end flow from lead capture through service completion and reporting. Dynamics 365 Marketing works with Dynamics 365 Sales to deliver personalised emails and customer journeys, while Power BI provides consolidated operational and sales reporting drawing data from Business Central and Field Service, supporting cross functional visibility across operations, sales, marketing and finance in the UK distribution footprint.
Governance and operational change included establishing shared master data between Business Central and Field Service, defining a unified service ticket lifecycle and aligning stock reservation processes between warehouse teams and field technicians. The deployment emphasizes process realignment and user training led by Tecman and Technology Management, and is positioned to streamline order processing, purchasing, warehousing and shipping, and to improve lead generation and opportunity management through integrated marketing and sales automation.
