In 2020, Dyson implemented Affirm as its Payment Processing solution on the Dyson.com website serving its Singapore market. The deployment positioned Affirm to handle customer financing and installment payment workflows within Dyson's ecommerce checkout, establishing Affirm as Dyson's ecommerce payment provider.
Implementation work focused on embedding the Affirm checkout experience and payment authorization flows into the front end checkout, configuring installment option displays, and integrating Affirm transaction capture with Dyson order capture processes. Affirm was configured to present financing options at the point of sale and to return authorization and settlement events to Dyson's commerce platform, enabling standard payment reconciliation.

Configuration centered on core Employee Self Service capabilities such as payslip viewing and history, personal data management, leave and absence requests, time and timesheet submission, benefits enrollment, expense claim initiation, and manager approval workflows. Zellis MyView was configured with role based access controls and notification routing to support both employee and line manager workflows across mobile and desktop interfaces.
Operational governance was aligned to Dyson HR and payroll process owners who manage user roles, data stewardship and workflow routing inside Zellis MyView. The deployment provided a unified employee facing surface for HR and payroll functions and established Zellis MyView as Dyson's primary Employee Self Service interface on its website.

The deployment focused on an embedded web chat widget and associated conversational tooling, with capabilities aligned to Chatbots and Conversational AI such as proactive chat invitations, canned response libraries, real time agent consoles, skill based routing and session transcript capture. Configuration emphasized chat routing rules, canned message taxonomy and dashboard reporting to support contact center and web support workflows.
The technical architecture was vendor hosted in GoTo cloud and integrated directly into Dyson website front end components to maintain continuity across public customer touchpoints. Operational scope centered on Dyson customer support and ecommerce web teams in Singapore, with governance directed at chat handling workflows, transcript retention and agent routing policies. The LogMeIn BoldChat implementation established a managed conversational layer on Dyson website channels to instrument web based customer interactions.
