In 2023 E-J Electric Installation deployed kanverse AP Invoice Automation to automate Finance and Accounts Payable for its US construction and electrical operations. The initiative focused on centralizing invoice intake, validation and ERP publication under the AP Automation program for the company's US based AP team.
The kanverse AP Invoice Automation implementation configured automated invoice ingestion, optical character recognition based data capture, PO matching and rule driven exception handling to accelerate throughput. Functional capabilities implemented included document capture and normalization, automated PO matching against purchase orders, and automated publishing of validated invoice records. Workflows were tuned to support near touchless processing and to escalate exceptions to AP analysts.
Integration with Oracle NetSuite was implemented for ERP publication of invoice data, enabling invoices and matched PO data to be pushed into NetSuite as part of the AP posting process. The integration removed manual data entry between invoice receipt and ERP posting and established an electronic handoff to downstream accounting in NetSuite. Operational scope was centered on Finance and Accounts Payable within the United States and did not include additional regional sites.
Governance included rules based matching thresholds, exception routing and approval workflows to formalize handling of non matched invoices and to maintain auditability. The deployment reduced AP cycle time from days to minutes and enabled near touchless processing for a large portion of invoice volume. kanverse AP Invoice Automation served as the central AP Automation engine connecting invoice capture, matching, and ERP publication.
