Integrations were operationally explicit, symplr API Core HR & Payroll received weekly payroll and special check extracts from the API Healthcare Human Resources & Payroll solution and posted and reconciled those payroll results into MEDITECH. The integration architecture therefore linked the HR payroll feed to MEDITECH for journal entry creation and automated reconciliation, supporting centralized monthly financial reporting across the various companies within ECHN. Governance and operational scope included monthly financial reporting, G/L account reconciliations across ECHN entities, preparation of Connecticut Office of Health Care Access annual reports, consolidated year end financial statements, and monthly electronic submissions of Statistics, Balance Sheet and Income Statement to the Connecticut Hospital Association. These process responsibilities placed symplr API Core HR & Payroll at the intersection of HR payroll operations and finance, formalizing payroll posting, reconciliation workflows and statutory reporting chains.
