SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Eddie Stobart implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial application to centralize inventory, warehouse and operational finance workflows across its distribution operations. The deployment targeted core distribution business functions including warehouse operation, operation management, inventory management, logistics and supply chain management, with the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 configuration serving as the authoritative system for stock and material financial records. The implementation emphasized Materials Management, specifically the use of SAP/ERP Materials Management (MM) capabilities for stock control, goods receipt and goods issue workflows, and the data input of stock onto internal systems. Functional modules and configuration centered on inventory management, warehouse transaction processing, quality check routines, and audit trail generation to sustain accurate and auditable records on all systems relating to service delivery. Operational coverage included delivery warehouse and transportation system processes, reflecting the Logistics Coordinator responsibilities for ensuring correct product delivery, communication with clients, and resolution of transportation issues. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment was used day to day for stock control, cycle activities and the maintenance of auditable material records, supporting logistics and supply chain management as well as downstream financial posting processes in the ERP Financial landscape. Governance practices focused on disciplined data capture and process controls, with explicit procedures for the data input of stock, quality checks and audits to ensure record integrity. Operational ownership remained with warehouse and logistics teams, who used SAP ERP ECC 6.0 MM transactions to enforce stock accuracy and to produce auditable evidence for service delivery and financial reconciliation.

MHR (formerly MidlandHR) Legacy MHR iTrent HR Core HR HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 Eddie Stobart implemented MHR iTrent HR as its Core HR system. The deployment was organized around a Shared Service Centre operating model, supporting Manufacturing, Industrial, Bulk, Container Logistics, Rail and central functions across the United Kingdom and Ireland, and establishing MHR iTrent HR as the authoritative system for employee master data and HR lifecycle transactions. Configuration work concentrated on HR lifecycle automation, including onboarding workflows, a new performance management process, a grading structure, succession planning and recruitment support. Project activity included comprehensive process mapping of HR lifecycle processes and configuring MHR iTrent HR to automate record updates and governance workflows, with attention to UK and Irish legislative compliance and sector specific policy rules. The program was executed in collaboration with Midland HR to automate data onto the iTrent HR platform and to enable interaction with business wide IT systems. Integrations and touchpoints were scoped to support workforce management initiatives, learning management system interactions, and cross functional exchanges with Finance and Health and Safety teams to sustain shared service operations and management reporting. Governance and operational rollout embedded an HR business partner model within the Shared Service Centre, including line management for HR delivery roles, senior management collaboration to translate five year strategy into sector people plans, and the introduction of management information and KPIs. The implementation also included coaching for managers on employee relations and TUPE matters, and the mapping of HR processes to support ongoing process ownership and continuous compliance.
