WaterStreet Company Legacy WaterStreet Billing & Accounting Insurance Billing Administration ERP Services and Operations n/a 2005 2005
In 2005, Edison Insurance engaged WaterStreet Company to provision WaterStreet Billing & Accounting for Insurance Billing Administration. The engagement was delivered as part of WaterStreet's property and casualty administration offering in the United States, focused on Edison Insurance's Florida operations and providing outsourced back-office services that included billing, premium processing and claims support. WaterStreet Billing & Accounting was used to support premium invoicing, collections and accounting services, this usage is inferred from WaterStreet's announced provision of premium invoicing, collections and accounting to insurer clients in 2005 and 2006. Implemented functional capabilities align with Insurance Billing Administration workflows, including invoice generation, payment application, receivables accounting and premium reconciliation, while policy administration and claims support workflows were coordinated alongside billing operations. The deployment followed an outsourced operations model with WaterStreet operating key billing and accounting processes on behalf of Edison Insurance, transferring operational responsibility for billing, finance and claims support to the vendor. Governance emphasized vendor-managed processing and back-office orchestration across billing and finance functions, with WaterStreet Billing & Accounting serving as the central application for invoice-to-cash and premium accounting activities.
