Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Centroid 2020 2020
In 2020, Edw. C. Levy Co. implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial deployment on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to move its non-production back-office applications to the cloud under a general cloud transformation vision. Centroid served as the systems integrator and determined Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provided the fastest and most secure option for rapid provisioning and long term flexibility. The implementation centered on Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle Database and custom applications running on OCI compute, leveraging Java Cloud Service for middleware and Oracle Object and Block Storage for data persistence. Oracle Analytics Cloud Service was included to support reporting and analytics on back-office data. Centroid also designed and provisioned DRaaS in OCI to provide business continuity and nearly instantaneous environment spin up for non-production stacks. The program covered non-production back-office environments and impacted financial management and related back-office operations. Integrations were architected between Oracle E-Business Suite, the Oracle Database, analytics services, and OCI storage to retain existing custom application workloads within the cloud tenancy. Centroid delivered turnkey services including cloud design and build out, technology deployment, failover testing, cut over activities, and ongoing managed services to support governance and operational handoff. The project reached near completion in weeks, including comprehensive testing and a new cloud architecture build. The cloud based design and DRaaS approach reduced disaster recovery cost by 30 percent versus traditional on premises disaster recovery and eliminated the need for on premises license and infrastructure management, enabling ongoing time and cost relief. The success of this rollout led Edw. C. Levy Co. to scope additional cloud initiatives with Centroid.

CareerBuilder Legacy CareerBuilder1 Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Edw. C. Levy Co. deployed CareerBuilder1 as its Applicant Tracking System. The CareerBuilder1 implementation was provisioned as a hosted, candidate-facing module integrated into the company career site, enabling online job postings and resume upload workflows through the CareerBuilder1 application entry point. The deployment centralized external application intake and provided a single web-based channel for candidate submissions to the recruiting function. Functional capabilities implemented include job posting management, online resume upload and parsing, a candidate profile and resume repository, and configurable application status tracking consistent with Applicant Tracking System workflows. Operational ownership sits with recruiting and hiring managers, with the system used as the principal intake channel for talent acquisition across the company, standardizing requisition creation, candidate screening stages, and recruiter access controls within CareerBuilder1.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Analytics Cloud Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, Edw. C. Levy Co. initiated a project to move non-production back-office applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and implemented Oracle Analytics Cloud as its Analytics and BI solution. The work was part of a broader decision to reduce in-house data center management and to establish cloud-based business continuity and analytics capabilities for back-office workloads. The implementation centered on Oracle Analytics Cloud Service for reporting and analytics, coupled with Oracle Compute and Oracle Object and Block Storage to host analytics processing and data persistence. The deployment included Java Cloud Service for application middleware, and an explicit disaster recovery as a service configuration in OCI to provide rapid environment provisioning and failover capability. Operational integration tied Oracle Analytics Cloud to the companys existing back-office workloads, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Database instances, and custom applications, enabling analytics on ERP and operational datasets. Centroid architected and executed the cloud design and build-out, conducting comprehensive testing, failover testing, and cut-over activities to validate the analytics and DR runbooks across non-production environments. Governance and run operations were handed over with managed services support from Centroid, which performed the initial deployments and ongoing managed operations to accelerate time to value. The project was completed in weeks, and the cloud-based disaster recovery approach delivered an explicitly stated 30% cost savings versus traditional on-premises disaster recovery while removing the need to procure and manage on-premises infrastructure and licenses.
