In 2015, EFG International implemented Temenos T24 to provide Core Banking services supporting trading, settlement, and compliance workflows across its private banking operations. Temenos T24 was configured as the institutional core banking platform to centralize customer accounts, general ledger processing and payments for both client facing and back office functions.
Configuration work emphasized modules for core ledger, customer master data, payments processing and front to back trading support, with explicit instrument coverage for equities, listed derivatives, fixed income and forex. The implementation also incorporated KYC and AML compliance functional workflows to support client onboarding and ongoing monitoring across all EFG Bank entities.
The Temenos T24 deployment was integrated with an order management system ULLINK and with market data and settlement counterparties including Bloomberg, Euroclear and TradeSTP to enable straight through processing from order capture to settlement. Operational coverage extended to entities in Europe, America and Asia, and the platform supported trading, operations, compliance and treasury business functions.
Governance and delivery were driven by internal IT teams who conducted business analysis, project management, technical design, implementation oversight and technical functional support for EFG Bank entities worldwide. Rollout activities formalized interface ownership and technical functional responsibilities for trading and compliance workflows across regional operations.
