In 2022, EisnerAmper implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform for core finance operations. The deployment addressed the needs of EisnerAmper, a United States professional services firm with approximately 4,500 employees, and was described internally as a large, complex ERP implementation driven by the firm’s enterprise program management office.
Configuration work focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including core financial accounting and general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, fixed asset accounting, period end and financial close orchestration, and centralized financial reporting. Implementation activity included process configuration, automation of routine accounting workflows, and instrumentation for consolidated reporting and month end cycle management consistent with ERP Financial best practices.
Governance and rollout were led by the EPMO, where leadership expanded the implementation team from one to fifteen direct reports and provided oversight for more than 150 indirect contributors. The EPMO managed a controlled beta program during the rollout that is reported to have produced increased revenue and operational efficiencies, and the program office coordinated training, change management, and phased adoption across finance and related operational functions.

In 2022, EisnerAmper implemented Workday Benefits to centralize Benefits Administration for the firm’s approximately 4,500 employees. Workday Benefits was provisioned to support multi-state U.S. and global benefit programs including Health and Welfare, Life AD&D, disability, worker’s compensation, leave administration such as FMLA, 401(k) and ancillary voluntary products.
Configuration work focused on benefits enrollment and eligibility rules, annual open enrollment workflows, plan setup and configuration, and vendor management capabilities within Workday Benefits. System configuration also enabled employee self-service communications and education during open enrollment, benefits plan harmonization across acquired entities, and web-based administration to support HR case resolution and day-to-day benefits inquiries.
The Workday Benefits deployment was integrated operationally with Human Resources, Finance and Payroll processes to manage and audit enrollment and payroll deduction information, and it was aligned with the firm’s M&A intake processes to onboard combinations onto existing plans or to design alternate solutions. External touchpoints were explicitly managed through vendor and consultant relationships for plan design, contracting, billing and service needs, preserving a single system of record for benefits data and vendor interactions.
Governance and ownership were centered in EisnerAmper’s HR organization, with the Senior Benefits Manager and HR centers of excellence responsible for policy, compliance with federal, state and local laws, vendor oversight and the annual open enrollment program. Workday Benefits serves as the core Benefits Administration application supporting HR, finance and payroll workflows, and it underpins ongoing efforts to standardize benefits processes and communications across the firm.
