In 2023, Ek Retail deployed NextChapter CMS as its Content Management platform to support a collective e-commerce solution for EK Fashion. The implementation was targeted at omnichannel retail processes across the Netherlands and the wider Benelux region. The deployment architecture centered on a central product information management system, with individual order management system and CMS environments provisioned for each affiliated retailer, enabling standardized webshop models and POS integrations. This structure centralized product data while allowing retailer specific OMS and CMS configurations and storefront variations. NextChapter CMS was configured to deliver scalable CMS driven storefronts, content modeling and catalog rendering tightly coupled to the central PIM. Integrations explicitly implemented included the central PIM, per retailer OMS instances and point of sale integrations to synchronize product and order flows across online and in store channels. Operational scope covered affiliated EK Fashion retailers in the Netherlands and Benelux, impacting ecommerce, merchandising, point of sale and retailer onboarding processes. Governance and rollout emphasized standardized webshop templates and onboarding workflows, which produced faster retailer onboarding, centralized product data and scalable CMS driven storefront delivery.
