In 2022, Elevate Fulfillment implemented ShipWise Web App to centralize shipping operations across its multi-client eCommerce fulfillment facilities. The ShipWise Web App serves as the companys Shipping Management platform, delivered via a web interface paired with a desktop application to support both cloud-accessible workflows and local fulfillment tasks.
The implementation focused on Shipping Management capabilities common to the category, including label generation and batch processing, shipment tracking and visibility, automated carrier selection and rate optimization workflows, and multi-client account management to segregate tenant data and billing. Configuration emphasized role-based access for fulfillment operators and client account administrators, and workflows were established to standardize order-to-ship processes across clients.
Operational coverage includes fulfillment floor operations, client account management, and the administrative functions that govern shipping queues and scheduling. The deployment architecture combined the ShipWise web interface for centralized orchestration with the desktop application for on-site printing and scanning, enabling synchronized workflows between remote client portals and physical fulfillment sites.
Governance and rollout relied on the vendor implementation and support teams, which Elevate Fulfillment identified as high quality and continuing to provide ongoing assistance. In 2018, Elevate Fulfillment implemented VeraCore Order Management to centralize Order Management for its growing 3PL operations. The decision followed rapid volume growth at their Idaho site and a requirement for automation and multi-facility operations as the company prepared to open an additional warehouse in California.
The deployment focused on VeraCore Order Management’s configurable rules engine and intelligent automation capabilities. Functional modules and capabilities implemented included rules-based order batching and grouping by bill of materials, like orders and shipping carrier, plus rule-driven pick streams that produced repeatable batch picks for warehouse pickers and consolidated packing workflows for packers.
Elevate migrated data and operational workflows from 3PL Central and consolidated both the Idaho and California facilities onto a single VeraCore platform, running core fulfillment operations and billing on one system. Operational coverage included pick, pack, ship, and billing workflows across multiple sites, and the system was configured to support 3PL-specific processes such as lot control and multi-facility inventory visibility.
VeraCore’s team supported hands-on onboarding and the migration, and Elevate undertook a governance and process rework to align procedures with the software’s configurable controls. Explicit outcomes reported by Elevate include reducing labor requirements by half overall, cutting labor for high-volume clients by up to 75 percent, and shortening customer billing from ten days to one, while enabling faster training and operational resilience during periods of high turnover.
