Boomi Legacy Boomi AtomSphere API Management, iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) PaaS GreenSharp 2022 2022 In 2022 Emmelibri deployed Boomi AtomSphere, an API Management,iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution to orchestrate integration across its publishing distribution network. Emmelibri coordinates distribution and commercial activities for the Messaggerie Italiane group and has centralized logistics and staff functions at the Citta del Libro facility in Stradella, making integration across partners and internal systems a critical operational requirement. The Boomi AtomSphere implementation used low code visual integration tooling and a cloud managed control plane with the ability to execute runtime components on premises. The implementation built on a phased production migration executed between October and November 2020, which moved approximately fifty system connectors and EDI links into production and established more than 180 processes and data flows for message routing, transformation, and orchestration. Named integrations included SAP ERP along with inventory, commerce, warehouse management and ecommerce systems, plus EDI connectivity for trading partners, covering wholesalers, distributors, warehouses, large scale retailers and bookstores. The integration footprint was scoped to supply chain and logistics coordination as well as enterprise information systems under the CIO organization, and GreenSharp served as the implementation partner for connector deployment and operational cutover. Governance emphasized operational monitoring and in house integration competency, Boomi AtomSphere required no special middleware management beyond application workload sizing and monitoring. Low code flows and continuous cloud updates were cited as explicit enablers for in house teams to maintain and extend integrations, delivering scalable, automated data exchange across Emmelibri’s distribution ecosystem and improving transactional visibility for commercial and logistics stakeholders.
