Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2008 2009
In 2008 Empirix implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment used Oracle Applications 12.1.3 and explicitly covered Financials, Manufacturing, Order Management, Configurator, Quoting, Install Base and Service Contracts to support core finance and operations. The internal applications team developed a custom revenue recognition system within the Oracle Applications Framework that consumes order information and provides users the ability to perform carve outs and best pricing concepts of VSOE not available in standard EBS. Configurator and Quoting were configured to feed Install Base and Service Contracts, tying sales configuration and contract administration into the financial ledger. Empirix deployed Oracle CRM On Demand in January 2011 and integrated CRM to Oracle E-Business Suite using the Lead to Order AIA PIP to orchestrate lead to order flows. InsideView and LinkedIn were embedded within CRM On Demand to enhance seller workflows, and SharePoint 2007 was deployed and integrated with both CRM and EBS for content management, intranet sites, internal project management and external facing sites. Service in CRM On Demand was recently implemented and tied to a custom front end portal to surface service cases and install base information. Operational coverage spans finance, manufacturing, sales and service teams, with the E-Business Suite 12.1.3 instance acting as the transactional backbone. Governance and rollout were managed by the Empirix applications organization, focusing on OA Framework extensions, cross system AIA integration patterns and formalized workflows for lead to order handoffs, service case routing into install base, and content governance through SharePoint.

Olark Legacy Olark Live Chat Chatbots and Conversational AI AI-Powered Application n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Empirix deployed Olark Live Chat on its public website. Olark Live Chat is a Chatbots and Conversational AI application implemented as a web-embedded, client-side chat widget to deliver real-time messaging and agent interaction directly on empirix.com. The deployment centers on customer-facing engagement, exposing a browser-based chat interface for site visitors and an agent console for support personnel. Configuration and operational scope emphasize standard conversational AI capabilities common to the Chatbots and Conversational AI category, including live chat routing, canned responses and scripted workflows, visitor context capture, and chat transcript retention. Implementation details indicate the solution is used to drive customer support and sales workflows, with governance handled through chat script management and agent workflow definitions, and operational coverage focused on the corporate website rather than internal systems. Empirix Olark Live Chat Chatbots and Conversational AI is presented as the primary web chat channel for capturing inbound conversations and routing them into existing support and sales processes.
