The implementation supported multiple business functions including project management, finance, HR related overtime tracking and business change teams, and was used as the primary system for progress tracking, risk and issue management across separation workstreams.
Governance was formalised through weekly steerco reporting, critical path led senior management calls, and a design authority process that weighed business impact ratings against risk mitigation options. Explicit outcomes captured during the rollout included early transitional services that produced a reported cost saving of £100K and the establishment of an overtime tracking method tied to a programme goal to reduce overheads by £6m per year, with a reported weekly overtime reduction of £80K during program execution.
