| COINS Global | Legacy | COINS ERP | Construction ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Enerveo implemented COINS ERP as its Construction ERP solution, executing a full system implementation and test program while transitioning the business through a separation and carve out. The implementation was led from a business analysis and PMO perspective, prioritising tasks by value, risk and dependency, and running approximately fifty workshops to capture requirements and drive adoption across workstreams and the end user community.
COINS ERP was configured to address standard Construction ERP functional areas consistent with project delivery environments, including project cost control, contract and procurement workflows, finance ledgers and time and attendance tracking, with configuration and testing activities coordinated alongside the internal IT team and external COINS consultants. The program included end user training, attendance tracking and lessons learned capture to accelerate user adoption and to embed operational processes aligned to the new system.
Operational integration focused on business change reporting and executive visibility, integrating COINS ERP outputs with PowerBi dashboards used for weekly steerco and senior management separation calls. The implementation supported multiple business functions including project management, finance, HR related overtime tracking and business change teams, and was used as the primary system for progress tracking, risk and issue management across separation workstreams.
Governance was formalised through weekly steerco reporting, critical path led senior management calls, and a design authority process that weighed business impact ratings against risk mitigation options. Explicit outcomes captured during the rollout included early transitional services that produced a reported cost saving of £100K and the establishment of an overtime tracking method tied to a programme goal to reduce overheads by £6m per year, with a reported weekly overtime reduction of £80K during program execution.
