The implementation leveraged SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ledger posting and cash management capabilities to maintain an auditable trail of invoice and cash activity.
Operational coverage included the finance and treasury teams responsible for invoice posting, cash reporting and reconciliations, supporting an organization of roughly 8000 employees and two billion in revenue. The system consolidated AP transaction records to a single financial system of record under the ERP Financial deployment.

The Workday HCM configuration included Workday Payroll and integration with ADP SmartCompliance for global payroll compliance, and the program delivered Time Tracking and Absence for 2,500 US hourly employees. Epiq executed a merger project bringing more than 4,000 employees into its Workday tenant from ADP Vantage HCM within five months, while also outsourcing US payroll processing and tax administration to Alight, which reduced payroll headcount from 10 to 1 and produced an explicit annualized cost reduction.
Operational architecture extended beyond the application layer into a shared services operating model, with a global support team established in India and HR technology operations across the United States, Poland, and India. The HR technology organization managed a $3 million budget for HR systems, negotiated vendor contracts with Workday and implementation partners, and achieved stated savings through renewals and process optimization.
Governance and process transformation included an operational roadmap, a standardized Workday acquisition playbook for mergers and divestitures, and the build out of a global HR technology and shared services team from one to eight members. The initiative also emphasized streamlined global data transactions, which management reported freed up 30 percent of HR business partners’ time and contributed to a reported 15 percent increase in HR operational efficiency.
