EPL implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central in 2012 as the companywide Core HR platform. The deployment established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the authoritative HRIS for global HR operations across manufacturing sites and corporate functions, and it was positioned to unify employee master data and lifecycle processes.
The implementation included Employee Central, Goals and Performance, JAM, and Learning Management, with extended HRIS coverage for Recruitment, Payroll, Attendance, Leave Management, Employee Appreciation, and Exit workflows. Configuration work focused on standardizing employee lifecycle workflows, goal cascades and performance cycles, social collaboration through JAM, and learning management processes to support competency development and compliance training.
Operational coverage was global, with the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central instance serving as a centralized HR data repository enabling HR Operations to maintain workforce records, payroll records, attendance and leave balances. The program also delivered an MIS capability for monitoring and tracking workforce numbers and for analyzing attrition, explicitly supporting employee retention strategy, people decisions, employee cost and productivity, and ROI analysis.
Process and project management governance accompanied the rollout, with formalized HRIS implementation processes and change management to align local HR practices to the centralized Core HR platform. Role based access controls and standardized HR workflows were instituted to govern data stewardship, approvals, and reporting across sites, enabling consistent operational control and decision support from the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central deployment.

In 2021, EPL deployed Amazon EC2 for Application Hosting and Computing Services. The Amazon EC2 environment is provisioned in the Amazon Web Services Mumbai Region and is used to host EPL's public website and associated front-end compute workloads. The deployment creates a cloud-based compute layer to support the company digital presence and IT infrastructure.
Amazon EC2 was implemented using standard compute constructs, including instance provisioning, instance lifecycle management, virtual networking configuration and security group controls to manage web-facing traffic and application processes. Operational ownership for the Amazon EC2 infrastructure is aligned to EPL IT and web operations teams in India, supporting site availability and cloud-native scaling through platform controls.
