In 2023, Eppendorf implemented Cityray HRPlus Payroll to modernize Payroll operations across Greater China. The deployment was scoped as a regional HR and payroll upgrade covering mainland China and Hong Kong, and the engagement was agreed between Cityray and Eppendorf China in 2023.
The Cityray HRPlus Payroll implementation covered HR, payroll, attendance and training modules, and added Hong Kong payroll and MPF functionality to centralize regional HR data. Cityray HRPlus Payroll configuration focused on HR master data consolidation, time and attendance processing, payroll calculation and statutory MPF rule support, along with training record management and employee lifecycle data harmonization.
Operational coverage included China and Hong Kong with business functions impacted across HR operations, payroll administration, time and attendance teams, and learning and development. The program emphasized digital onboarding and contract e-signature capability expansion to standardize cross-border onboarding workflows and reduce manual contract handling.
Governance and rollout were organized as a regional upgrade to centralize HR data and harmonize payroll governance across jurisdictions, with process changes targeted at onboarding, e-signature workflows and cross-border payroll policy alignment. The initiative is positioned to strengthen cross-border payroll governance and central HR data visibility in the Eppendorf China HR environment.
