The implementation integrated Oracle Cloud ERP with the COTS applications for estimating, planning and fleet and plant operations to create an end to end operational and financial record flow.
Programme governance was centralized, with direct reporting to the group CEO and management of key C Suite stakeholder relationships. The programme lead was accountable for delivery of all programme benefits and managed the contractual relationship with the Systems Integrator for Oracle ERP Cloud to ensure delivery in line with contract terms.

The implementation combined Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher reporting with Microsoft Power BI visualizations and direct database SQL extracts. Architecturally the solution leveraged Oracle Fusion R12 and R13 subject areas via OTBI and BI Publisher, alongside ODI and direct SQL for data extraction and complex data models consumed by Microsoft Power BI. Technical workstreams addressed BI Publisher data model development using SQL, creation of scheduled agents and IBOTs, custom SQL for flex fields, and collaboration with Oracle for service requests and workarounds, while Power BI was used for layered data visualization and stakeholder presentations.
Governance and operationalization followed structured deployment and support practices, including code promotion from development to test to UAT and pre production, system testing and support for user UAT, BAU incident handling under SLA, CAB approvals for changes, knowledge transfer sessions between project and BAU teams, detailed design and implementation documentation, and performance tuning of dashboards and SQL queries.
