Operationally the trial was integrated into Mobily's network operations workflows, with optimization outputs used to inform RAN control processes and operational playbooks. The scope of the trial covered Mobily's 5G RAN in Saudi Arabia and centered on network operations teams responsible for uplink performance and throughput management. The trial demonstrated an increase in the share of transmissions under high-quality conditions by about 80 percent, indicating measurable uplink performance and spectral efficiency improvements in the evaluated environment. The project completed in 2024 and serves as a documented instance of Mobily using Ericsson Cognitive Network Solution within Generative AI Platforms for RAN optimization.
